Today,my mp3 died on me while I was on my boring journey to work. When the train reached the next stop,I was already on the verge of dozing off!! A woman started running towards the train and managed to catch the ride, doing it like NIKE. Her friend was doing her own thang' too but missed the ride by a few seconds. The doors just slammed right in front of her face. Initially they were disappointed but after a while they were smiling and waving already (i think she was signalling to her friend to meet @ another stop). I laughed, because at that moment,I felt a sense of deja vu.
I realized i've been through the same situation before. I had fun laughing at myself.I miss running after buses/trains!It gets pretty exciting when everyone's so packed like sardines,I'd maneuver my body so hard in order to avoid any accidents.Haha, I don't want everyone to fall in a domino effect just because of my clumsiness! Sometimes there's this very awkward silence during the journey and your friend suddenly pops in a word or accent..and it can ease the whole SILENT tension of the ride. You can laugh non stop over the most trivial matters, like someone airing their armpits right at your face.Or even someone who's beside you, dozing off (and decided to use your shoulders to rest his/her head) and you try so hard to avoid getting the person's head on your shoulders!
In the end,it's all about containing THE laughter. The many ways of humans trying to change/improve the situation or basically just give up and laugh about it.
